Anyone know where I can get a Halon extinguisher for a 360 with a mounting bracket that attaches to the passenger seat rails?

Nice Kevin. If you have one in your 360, could you post a picture? Did you buy brackets from them or make your own?

Thanks Kevin. Do they also make the bracets that mount to the passenger seat rails? The pic on their site shows mounting by the tunnel, which I don't want to do.

Thanks Kevin. The picture in teh link showing the Safecraft extinguisher mounted to the passenger seat rails is exactly what I was looking for.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone ever had reason to use one of these in a 360? I can't imagine the circumstances under which there's a fire in my car and I would want to get close enough to use one of those...

Yeah...that is the same install I am thinking about for my 360.

I worked on the process for a couple weeks trying to find the perfect scenario. My four requirements were; ease of access, out of the way for passenger comfort, moves with the seat and an extinguisher that won't make a mess if ever used. The option I went for is pricey but met the requirements.

Images show a top and bottom attachment of the Brey Krause mount with harness for the fire bottle. With the seat out, I sent a few photos with the guys at Stable Energies and on a hunch they thought the OEM threads looked like a Porsche GT2 seat. They were spot on and the only adjustment I had to make is with the Daytona seats only 2 of the 4 screws could be used (foam reaches out several inches compared to racing seats). You have to pull on the fire bottle and depress the foam an inch to remove it and I had my wife test it for safety purposes - all is good.

As Kevin says, the extinguisher is for someone else's fire. If the car I'm in ever goes up I'm not going to waste time trying to release the extinguisher before I get out!

Decade-hence bump as I’m looking to do this same thing.

Anyone recall (or can identify) which specific Brey Krause mount it was? I’m guessing it was for a pre-2014 GT2.

Mounts like this are all over Amazon. If I was to do it now, I would get an Element extinguisher and mount it in the same place and the same way.

I have several element extinguishers but I don’t trust them enough to fully replace the bottle.
Are you saying any generic universal mount from Amazon will work?

Thanks for the attached pic. That looks a lot like a Halguard H3R mount.

Yes. Maybe not just "any" but they all seem to be pretty much the same basic design. The holder is adjustable laterally, attached to two metal straps that bolt onto the front seat frame rails.
