TRW steering rack for Mondial 3.2

A couple years ago I replaced the rack bushings (the plastic ones that crack) with silicon bronze bushings - this works well and eliminates the issues associated with weak/broken plastic bushings.

I took my rack out again just recently and have notices there's a fair amount of play in the gears now...has gotten worse over the last few years. It's time for a rebuild of the gear/rack.

The TRW part number on it appears to be 57502213/219. Does anyone know if this rack was used more widely on a few other cars? Perhaps Alfa or Fiats in Europe? I wouldn't guess this is a custom one-off rack specifically for the mondial....
