Separate 348 and 355 sections?

  1. No, keep it as is.

  2. Yes, it would be great to have separate sections

  3. I can take it as-is or separate

  4. Separate would be great but how would history get resolved?

I guess you and I focused on the same 2 key words. I think that would make everybody's experience better. I am not necessarily talking about the 348-355 banter that goes on but posts from others.

This all came about due to a few disrespectful trolls. Deal with those individuals and the problem will cease to exist.

Been away for a while, think this question was asked back then though (about 100 times). Why would you split? The cars are made out of practically the same parts, many issues that crop up are common to both, we can all glean useful info from both sides of the fence. Why would you split it?

I always find it a tad 'amusing' when you see some owners who slate other Ferrari owners and their cars. And that's amusing in an utterly, yet deliberately, condescending way. I'm a Ferrari fan. Someone says I've just bought a clapped out, seriously needs work, mondi 8 coupe (to pick a model) and my initial thought is "Cool." I want to see under the hood, inside, all the nooks and crannies. Then I want to see what the new owner can do with it to bring it back to its former glory.

All this 'one-up-manship' (because that's what it is) is laughable. I've endured all sorts from owners who have implied a 348 is ALWAYS bought because the buyer couldn't afford anything else - I sense that's where much of the animosity comes from. Well I bought my 348, then I spent the purchase price again on getting here up to like new. She's just moving into her new accommodation which has cost double all of that. Could I have afforded a 355? I could just about have shouted for a 458 with the money I've spent (and I'm still married - yep, I'm surprised too :) )

Let's stop with the '348 owners can't afford anything better.' and '355 owners own financial time-bombs.' it's utterly pointless and totally ignores one fact - both these cars are great Ferraris to own.
