I digitally restored 512s #1030 to Le mans 1970 longtailed version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bH7WexinmK8
as it often happens with dictionaries and You Tube, Alan's link led me to this one of Nino at Pergusa; crap quality but strangely compelling none the less... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_lpON-Hh-2w I love to watch race cars come down the straight from head on. I don't think most non-racers understand just how much cars move around in a "straight" line!
Hi there I am a bit confused about the supposed swap between 1006 and 1028 telaios. I read about that on barchetta. Could some experts explain what happened and which of these cars came second at Daytona in 71? thanks cheers Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The first picture shows 1006 (ex 1028) and the second picture shows 1028 (ex 1006), so the second picture is the one that came second at Daytona in 71. If barchetta.cc is correct.
So far I agree. Most of all I would like to check if Barchetta is correct. I am writing a small article on the 512 and I would not like to say too much bull**** I guess both cars (and owners) would like to claim the Daytona finish.
I hope these are relevant to the discussion. Captured in 2012 at PBIR. Only just seen this thread of one of my all time favourites. I was at the factory for a speccing session and out the back in the Classiche department spied the following. Apologies, on an ipad so multiple posts. Image Unavailable, Please Login
