Lusso. The LaF is interesting and the Daytone is a fun playboy's car, I like those, but the 250's are legends. I really don't care much for the Enzo.
Either the Enzo or LaF. Love the noise of the LaF, and I'm sure the DSC gearbox will be much more impressive then the one in the Enzo... What I like about the Enzo is that it seems more ''raw'' to me, less electronic bits to save you from killing yourself. No electric diffs and so on.
The most interesting thing to me about this thread is that I can almost certainly tell, within five-to-ten years, the age of each poster, from his answer.
I would keep the Lusso. If you have the Lusso and an F40 the odds are you have enough money to acquire an Enzo or LaF. Those are fine cars to add to a collection. But I would not trade the Lusso for one. Perhaps I would consider trading the Lusso for another vintage car I like better (if one existed). The Lusso is a gorgeous car.
The F40 is awesome and one of the greatest Ferraris for sure. I've encountered them at track events and "chased" one around in a 512 BBi, during one of the rampaging drive events in FCA. However, incredibly, it seems 288 GTO pricing is starting to eclipse the F40. Probably due to the 288 being rarer. I think the 288 GTO in by far one of the most beautiful Ferraris ever made, and a bit of a mystery to most of us, who have never encountered one.
I have decided what to do. I will keep the Lusso and F40, keep DD' the Scuderia, and get an Evo 9 MR and mod the hell out of it haha.
Here is my answer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AVuSf6tkfpQ add in a gated manual Modena and your done!
What a great video. Thanks for sharing. I know its like apples and oranges but I get the same feeling when I drive my gate shifter 360 Spider. It can't be compared to the 458 but these cars have a raw presence lost with the newer technology. The Lusso for me all day.
This will be sad.. I havent driven Lusso in almost three years. Its about to finish its complete engine rebuild. I went grocery shopping one day and the car overheated and never came back on... It is about to rise from the ashes however, and it will be driven.
I agree with the Lusso trade for a 275 GTB/C. I remember Sheehan had one for sale around 1997-1998 - "correctly priced at $175,00". Makes me want to cry.
