Lots of reasons. East coast weather is bad 5 months per year. And if it's not snowing, u have to worry about potholes from plows. So you are basically good 7 months. Then throw in kids etc... 5k per year is about right. That said, still enjoy her 12 months per year cleaning, waxing etc. that's why I just bought a Porsche Cayenne S with turbo 6 cylinder. Feels like you are still driving a sports car .

In the east, I worry more about pot holes and freezing temps which turn the tires into rocks

That's why you have a second set of wheels with winter tires that don't turn to rocks in the cold.

As much as possible. In the winter when it is dry and above freezing...

In the summer, almost every day. Have some other vehicles I need to exercise also.

that wont help you with the giant sized potholes everywhere. And lets not forgot the switch from salt to gravel for snowstorms/icing. not worth it.

I only drive mine ('09 430 Spider) about 500 - 750 miles per year. I have a '12 Turbo S Cab that I drive about the same amount. Both cars are stored from November until April. I find the Ferrari is more of a "drive around" car because it is somewhat difficult to leave it parked anywhere. I have not had any problems but it normally draws a crowd.

Mostly on the weekends weather permitting. Sometimes to work during the week. My DD is a 13 SL 63 with the Kleeman chip which is a blast to drive too.

I've driven my 360 every single day that I've had it in my possession.

It arrived yesterday morning.:D My record will fall today since it is not registered/licensed yet.

I have driven my '2023 SF90' 2722 miles in its first month .... i love the car and don't understand why most Ferrari owners are so scared of miles ... will this ever change?

Not as much as I thought I would, I can't believe how much I love working on it! So it's off the road for that quite a bit.

In between working on it, and when no salt on the road, weekly at least. Of note, I work at home and have no reason to drive anywhere, so I only drive for the event of driving this car.

I know that feeling... I just switched insurance policies and only took a 2500-mile per year limit based on my past few years of driving. I wish I could drive either my Porsche or Ferrari more, but life and "salted roads" keep getting in the way. Oh, and the crappy roads in the NY/NJ Tri-state area mean I don't want to risk my wheels driving to a lot of places that require getting too close to NYC pot holes.

I would love to drive it through NYC, that would be, and sound, really cool, but don't think I ever would, roads are horrible other than the west side highway

I have 5 cars. When I got my F430 10+ years ago , it was every other weekend. Now it is about once a month. We all enjoy our cars in different way. It becomes a job when you have a crazy hill to navigate down taking the car out/in. :)

Drive my 360 at least once every weekend. I have only had it since last August. After talking to several other owners, I've learned that the more you drive them, the less problems the car is likely to have.

When I first got interested in Ferraris I always said if I ever owned one I'd drive it all the time. Unfortunately life (and work) usually gets in the way and I imagine that's true for a lot of people here.

I also won't drive this one if there's salt on the roads so that limits things a bit too, especially at this time of year.

In short, I don't take it off the road exactly, but it hardly gets used over winter.
