I'm posting this for my father. The car is located about 20 miles north of Green Bay, Wisconsin on the way to Door County.

To contact my father please PM me for the phone number or e-mail him at: [email protected]

    $60k obo
    27,xxx miles
    Tubi Muffler
    Challenge exhaust
HRE 3-piece wheels (he has the original wheels with new Hill Engineering lug bolts)
    Clear front turn signals

For a PDF of all records for this car prior to my fathers ownership, please PM me.

He purchased it December of 2006 from a private party in Iowa with 14,000 miles on the odometer. He has enjoyed this car immensely, but like all good things, it's time to move on.

Since his ownership I have been the primary caretaker along with Page Auto Inc in Green Bay.

The last major service was in May of 2009, documented in this thread:
    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/348-355-sponsored-bradan/241877-another-major-underway-along-header-disection.html

This 355 has been very reliable for my father, only minor maintenance needed outside the major service for things like the thermostat, coolant temp sensor, and a CV boot.

As you can see in the above thread, the headers were modified to prevent the normal failure experienced with the factory units. Upon removal of the clam-shell, the headers were in good shape and were then coated by Swain Technologies with their "White Lighting" ceramic coating:
White Lightning Exhaust Coatings | Swain Tech Coatings | Industrial Coatings | High Performance Racing Coatings

I've used this coating before, and those not familiar with their products, the White Lighting coating is significantly thicker than most other ceramic coatings. The dull white is the natural color of their coating. It can be sanded down and painted, I opted to leave them "natural".
The air pump tubes were cut off and welded shut since that is another failure point for these units.

Camshaft covers were powder-coated, not painted during the engine out work.

Two years ago I stripped all the interior sticky paint off and re-painted with "SEM Color Coat" 15013 Landau Black. This was done on the recommendation of a another local shop well known for exotic car restorations. The owner of this shop has a 1995 355 and this is how he treated his interior.
I also removed the seats and treated them with Leatherique.

I'll answer any questions to the best of my ability in this thread, my father isn't active int eh forum to answer within the thread, so it would be best to e-mail or call him.

I'm really going to miss this car since I almost purchased it myself, but I had a choice to make: Buy a house or my fathers 355. As much as my wife also loves the car, the house won...
I still plan to own my own 355GTS someday, in my humble opinion it signifies the end of an era for the Ferrari V8's and one of the greatest street cars to come from Maranello.
Much like the 964/993 in the Porsche world.

I mostly drove this car with the top off, the GTS is the best of both worlds. It retains the coupe look with the top in place, and all the thrills of the convertible with it removed (without the mechanical issues associated with the convertible top).

First two photos are my father with my wife leaving Road America heading for Elkhart Lake in the fall of 2011.

The next two sets of photos are form the 2012 & 2013 Sports Car Concours d' Elegance in Elkhart Lake during the July Vintage Festival (BRIC to the locals ;)).
I've attended this event every year with my father since 1986.

    Thank you for looking.

I really don't understand why people just don't post the price. I'm a cash buyer in the market for one of these cars but refuse to open a dialog with someone who may have an overinflated idea of what their car is worth. Not wasting my time.

It was a complete oversight on my part, nothing to get all worked up over.

    Asking price is $60k obo.

As for interior photos, I'll take some detailed ones this weekend when I'm at my parents house. All I have are "overview" shots with the top off.

They are actually in Dyckesville, about half way between Green Bay and Sturgeon Bay.

Great car. I am assuming the car won't pass smog because you have removed the air rails etc. Is that correct? Thanks.

Undervalued at $60K in my opinion. Someone got a great deal.
