When comparing the old and the new, it clearly shows the level OMGJON (aka Jon) goes to. This is once again something that will never be seen, but yet he is thorough and neat about the process.

Jon, thank you for taking on this project. I can't wait for it to be back together...

Is that the correct voltage regulator for this car? I believe it may be a replacement or at least one with a different cover.

The originals show up on eBay all the time. If you can't find one, I've got an NOS one I believe.

Bump. This makes better reading than any book.... Thank you all for sharing the commitment and dedication to preserving such beautiful cars. Can't say enough praise for the artisans who put so much skill, care and time into bringing these cars back to life.

I have a Blu Sera GT. I think this is Dino Blu Metallizzato, to the original formula. Omgjon did his first Dino restoration in a lighter shade of DBM, and recently finished another Dino in a shade closer to the current sample. Blu Sera is midway between Dino Blu Metallizzato and Blu Pozzi. Fred

    I also think it's DBM.

Shawn, the formula that is available turned out to be an unsatisfactory match to original (as usual!), so I tweaked and modified the formula to what you see on the spray out sample I made. The color on the "speed Shape" gives a much better representation of what it will look like on your car versus a flat cardboard spray out. I think you're gonna love it!
