Matthias, Thanks for clarifying. I did not know that they had a white booklet. I wonder if they have a "Black Booklet" reserved for not in period race cars, road cars and their guilty owners? Freeman
I love the colour scheme Matthias, I am soon to specify my speciale in the cars release nart colour scheme, I am interested to know the history and logic of the colours, and why yours was mainly black rather then red
it isn`t black, it`s dark blue (Blu Notte Met.).... because my car was blue, the middle stripe is red the second Nart-Dino #02678 was red.... Image Unavailable, Please Login
What a journey to arrive with this incredible result. Your determination to sort out every single detail to achieve originality is also amazing. You must have plenty of free time Matthias ;-), I envy you. Full compliments and again ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. Looking forward to seeing the car next time I see you. Best, Max.
I finally found the AutoSprint article + picture. Thanks to Francis for the hint.... Article and picture are from Franco Lini. Does anybody know him? Is he still around? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Matthias, It was an extremely bold decision of yours to restore your 206 as raced vs as delivered. I commend you on your decision. I love seeing the results. Freeman
Freeman, the plan is to show the Dino at Techno Classica in Essen next month (15th until 20th of April 2015) Are you going to Essen, as you did last year?
Hello Matthias: maybe you can try to contact AutoSprint or the company that make the magazine. They can have other pictures. Regards, Alvaro
I just happened upon this thread because it showed up as a recently-commented one. What an AMAZING read, and story! One of the most - if not the most - unique and historic Dinos around, and it couldn't have found a better home. Enjoy it in the best of health!
Matthias, I will miss it this year. It is definitively one of the best classic car shows in the world! Freeman

Nice catch I remember when Mershons had it I had no idea of its heritage.. And I imagine Dan didn't either but great catch and outstanding job with the car....
I had the pleasure to receive the brochure from Matthias. As always he did a perfect job. If you can , go to Essen. It's a fantastic place and you can meet the Dino-Compendium guru and Dino N.A.R.T owner. Great guy ! And the most important 206GT in the world !
Matthias, Congratulations!!! Beautiful graphics, layout and photography! Your Dino has huge presence. Freeman
Matthias, Congratulations on a magnificent restoration of a historically-important Dino, and also a brilliant commemorative brochure. Freeman, congratulations on your recognition as a class-leading automotive designer. Regards, Fred
