Are they really bringing that much money? Had no idea they were up that much. Neat car although really long.
What a car. They've almost doubled in price in the past 5 years. I wish they would lose the rear wing. Can you imagine trying to back-up without a camera? LOL
A masterpiece from Maserati. I love it but out of my league. Probably not US street legal either being the corsa.
Well this is something special. I remember seeing a video not long ago of one being driven around town and it sounded incredible. Edit: here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aYAUTg8UIxU
The answer is easy - the MC12 has only the monocoque chassis and the engine block from the Enzo. The cyl.-head is gear driven. A much more advanced technology than the chain driven version in the Enzo. Suspension is much better and more advanced than with the Enzo. Ferrari had no intentions to get the Enzo as a race car. Its a very fast road car - nothing less but nothing more...! Btw . the VIN stated in the 1st post here is not correct!
There was one of these at the Le Belle Macchine on the track one year it didn't run a heck of a lot though. It was out there all by it's lonesome. Great noises. But there was also a street MC12 there another year that belonged to Doug Magnon who very recently died RIP. That made nice noises too! The ride was great as well! It seemed to me to be not a very practical car for the road. Perhaps the Enzo is better suited for that. This has the look and it's fast as hell.
correct vin is ZAMDF44B000029629. Chassis # 0006. This particular car was 1 of the 3 demo cars used for publicity and show purposes. It was send back to Masarati factory by current owner to be made to run. It has "0" track time.
#29629 (ZAMDF44B000029629) CORSA delivered new to Ala`a Albakri (PRINCESS CARS) Abu Dahbi, painted in mid-blue with two longitual white stripes. For sale in May 2007, for sale on Ebay/USA in April 2008, still with PRINCESS CARS. (they claimed the car had an Italian registration)
Ruh Oh. So it's not in LI and for sale? Confused? I'll have to check with Joe to see who had one at Pocono that time?
