I was wondering if anyone knew how much longer from stage 40 until the car is finished. Does anyone have a list of the production stages and how long they typically take?

Soshry, your clock will now slow down TICK to the slowest it TOCK ever has. Time has come to a stand TICK still :) and the closer you get to that deliver date the worse it will get, just look at my email, the ticking has TOCK already slowed considerably.

There are a bunch of status posts listing what each status means. I'll try to find one.

    From Shawminator in 2010:

    1. Status: 10 (approx within week after your place your order) your spec has been approved for production
    2. Status: 20 (approx within week after status 10) car is being built
    3. Status 70 (approx within 15-20 days after status 10) car is finished ready to be road tested.
    4. Status 90 (approx within week after status 70) car is shipped
    5. Delivery (approx 3 weeks on the East Coast) after 90.

That seems quick....all together ~9 weeks from placing order to delivery?
I thought more like 5-6 months.
    No?

Rick's using his timeline. For the rest of us mere mortals it's 5-6 months -- if were lucky.

I was looking for timing not from when the order was places but from when the car was in "10 red" if the information is accurate then it will be 5.5 to 6 total months from when they officially accepted my order.

2.5 to 3 months from month of build?

For my last one, I waited a bit over a year (measured from time of order/deposit).

nope but I have heard from others including the dealer that there is no rhyme or reason as to when they send them, sometimes weeks after the car has shipped.

How do they send them to you, through "my Ferrari" on the site or just email?

I think that timing is a little optimistic I think the V12s move at a little slower pace.. I would say probably add about 3 weeks to the time line Rick gave you. From what I recall the V12 build time is about 28 days to testing then it 70 to 90 could be a couple of weeks or so . then shipping to arrival at dealer could be 4 to six weeks give or take 4 weeks or so.
I say that kiddingly but they really do not have any exact timing arrangement for example I flew mine in and got a flight number and arrival time then waited and waited 2 weeks and turns out it did not make that flight so it was two more weeks then it took 24 hours to get to the dealer from the time it arrived at the airport flown in cars do not go to FNA so I picked the car up and it turned out I had to wait to pay because no one knew how much it was ...(no kidding) so I gave them the estimated amount and then got a bill a week or so later for the balance.. The car truly is an Italian
best of luck with yours.. you will love it
