Hello all, Does anyone have experience with Cats Exotics in Lynnwood, WA? I talked with their mechanic and he indicated that they can service Ferraris, even though they are a mostly Lamborghini shop. Please give me your thoughts or experiences. Thanks, Renz
It seems like for serious work, he sends his cars to Evans in Columbus, OH. I've never known his shop to be a service facility, but maybe he offers that now.
Thanks guys, I need cam seals and belts serviced. I spoke with their mechanic, and he indicated he could do the work. Just thought I'd check in with you all first. Renz
I stopped by today for the first time. I usually only use Ferrari Of Seattle but I wanted to checks Cats out anyway. The young salesman was so rude. I asked to see the 355 and he wouldn't open it unless I guaranteed to buy it. I have bought 4 ferraris on three continents and have never been greated so rudely. I know they have a great reputation with Lambo's. Glad I'm into Ferrari's and I can shop elsewhere. First and last time I'll give Cats Exotics a chance to earn my business.
I dealt with them a few years ago, selling my 03 Murci. I found them to be completely professional. As shmark just said, contact Roy directly and discuss. I know he takes a lot of pride in his business, and is a true gentleman.
If u are in Seattle go to Alfa of Tacoma, they been working on 308s for 35 years. Englishman "Sid" is also extremely competent at ferrari of Seattle. It been a very long time since I brought a car there so I'm not sure if he still at it.
A shop in Washington state ships it's cars to Ohio for service??? Seems like a long way. I would guess there are a LOT of competent shops in WA or CA. That seems strange- tack $1,500 onto any job for shipping??
Dennison International is about 50 minutes south of Seattle and they work on race cars and road cars alike. On the Ferrari front, they've looked after lots of Dinos (including mine) all the way up to some of the most collectible Ferraris in the world. Butch is a real professional and his shop rates are very reasonable. Keith
Wow, old post...but bringing back names from the past....Sidney left Ferrari of Seattle in early 2000 if I recall correctly. Nice guy, he did the prepurchase inspection on a 78 308 GTS (garage queen) I ended up buying. He was very thorough and explained a lot of details to me.
+2, I would have got the guys name...but at the least let Roy know even if you don't. I'm sure he wouldn't stand for that kind of behavior from his staff.
