    Great stuff as usual Lou!
    Your pop doesn't look like a big guy, but do you notice much of a performance difference with him riding along vs solo?
    In a light vehicle like my CRX I can really tell the difference with 150lb+ in the passenger seat.
    In a ~1000lb plane like yours I imagine climb rate takes a hit two up.

    You need an RC X-wing :)
    I'm working on a larger, more scale one after flying the prototype for 2 years.

    A few years ago the Hudson corridor was deemed a special flight rules area, this means that there were special rules setup regarding the airspace that pilots have to follow, and they technically have to take a course to fly through the area. There are three different levels at which you can fly through the Hudson corridor: Skyline Route (in Class Bravo, 1,300' +), Transient Operation Hudson River Exclusion (1,000'-1,300') or Local Operation Hudson River Exclusion (surface to 1,000'). I personally like going through the bravo as you're in constant contact with LaGuardia Tower for traffic advisories.
