The SCCA has now ruled that the Abarth stays in GS for stock, and moves to STX instead of STC. Fun to drive, no matter what class!

Here are some shots of my 12 Abarth. Custom paint. Upgrades include Eurocompulsion Unichip V2 tune, lightweight Braille battery, custom made ram air cold air, lightened crank pulley, ported MPX throttle body, Pogea front mounted intercooler, MPX cat less down pipe and straight through exhaust. Koni shocks, large rear torsion bar (28 mm) 16" wheels with Toyo R1R. I have been tracking and club racing at MSR Houston track where we have a garage. Also run in the Texas Mile event where it was (by far) the smallest car. Also lighter Sparco seats and Madness Roll bar Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Oh sorry the seats may be a bit more narrow with much more bolster very comfortable for me, also about 2 " lower and about 30# lighter
Been thinking about selling my Abarth and moving into an Alfa 4C. Anyone else having these thoughts or have already made this move?
Expect them to sell for 50K+ after the "Intro/rollout" models are gone. About the size of a Lotus. beautiful to look at but I think the impracticality and size would get old soon. I'm looking forward to the Fiat 124 later this year. Italian styling and Mazda quality.
Is that still happening (Miata/spider)? I thought I read somewhere they had shelved the plan to base their roadster on the Miata.
Looks like they're moving forward. They DID scrap the Alfa/Mazda roadster. That was the one I was looking for!
Ok, so are you talking about a project for a convertible sports car (spider), or small coupe/hatchback ("124")? Or are we getting both?!? I vote the more alfas the better!!
I am not surprised. I always thought the 328 was one of the most beautiful Ferraris and the market is proving it to be true.
Well I finally got my 2013 Abrath C. Bought is over a year ago but got tied in a business deal. First impressions; BIG smile and huge fun factor! It sounds awesome, has really good grip and major power boost over the normal 500, it could easy become my daily driven since it's so fun...that's assuming my wife doesn't take from me, so it's keeper. The car is all but new with only 3k miles. I am tempted to do some mods, the stance on it is a little high and at the very least will add an Italian flag on the hood and door number to match my 360CS , what else would you guys recommend? Again I probably will use it as a DD, but will give it a track baptism (as with every car I own), so don't want to affect the drivability to much.
I have done a great deal to mine but I would say Koni shocks on rear better rear brace bar and short shift would be a good start if you are not going to touch the engine.
FYI, fellas, Fiat are expected to announce the next gen 500 on 4 July 2015. Dimensions roughly the same, lighting upgrades, interior upgrades, probably no changes to power train. More of a refresh really. I don't have pictures, but I'll post if I get some.
