Congrats on the newest addition! This car is a beauty! I never did get a chance to see it in person, but I'm glad it's gone to a enthusiast who will cherish this beauty! Enjoy in good health!
The Cartel is at full power. However tortesqu1 is achieving something I'd define more of a Diplomatic Win rather than Economical, cause he's using ROMO as much as he can to take all the US GTOs off the market. Well played.
I HATE YOU! just kidding but sad to see many of our Canadian market special Ferrari models heading south. At least this GTO is going to an 'most excellent' home where she will be among 'friends'. The original buyer was on the fence as to whether or not he should even order a GTO when they first came out...
The original buyer took amazing care of the car and if you know him please assure him that it will be properly tended to with its second owner. I'm very happy with the way he built the car and didn't employ any shortcuts in the process. It's one of the best optioned GTO's I've seen on the aftermarket thus far. Cheers!
Congrats ROMO... Do you plan to sell something to make room or to keep "Da Vault" loaded with, if I'm not mistaking GTO X 3 Aperta HGTE The bad news is that you will have to make the Detail-Man come back and Re-Shoot you entire collection ... ahahah
Your accounting of the car inventory is correct and I have ZERO intentions of selling any of my cars at the present time. I still hope to add other strategic limited edition Ferrari's over the coming 12 months. My Ferrari's are now officially in the "Mobile Hedge Fund" and let's see what the ROI will look like over the next 7-10 years....should be interesting for sure. Cheers!
Here is my guess. Over the last several few months GTO prices are up almost 30-50% So: 1 X 450,000 (est) X 30-50% Is not as good as: 3 X 450,000 X 30-50%
Because losing 3 minutes every morning because you can't chose between Avus, Fuoco & Corsa is the best thing there is.
correct summation galt-- and i also believe the gto's will continue to increase in value more so that other limited edition ferrari's. there is not doubt that my approach is not without risk....but it's a calculated risk from my perspective after speaking to many ferrari investment experts. only time will tell...
Did you consider getting a Speciale A ? I think It will skyrocket in price. Last NA V8 ferrari, very limited edition, "Hardcore" Ferrari...
That's one of the cars I hope to get allocation of. I agree with yours assessment and its one of the last cars under Luca's stewardship.
Best form of hoarding, all joking aside I believe this will be a wise investment on your part the days of a V12 are limited.
Between the seller/the transport company (TFX), and my personal assistant the aforementioned handled the details after I approved the acquisition. Sorry for the lack of details but from what I was told by PA the Custom Fees of 2.85% was the only anomaly versus me buying the car in the US. This was also true when I purchased my SA Aperta from Ferrari of Ontario.
