Wood love that on my wall....... ( pardon the pun ). Seriously though....how can I get one of these ????
I think there is now a process avalable where you use a b/w laserprint photo. A special paste will be applied on the wooden surface, the laserprinted foto on top of that. The laserprint toner gets transferred perfectly on the wood .... Ask around, we are not practicing magic here in Europee ... Should be around in your country too in hobby shops ...
Its laser engraved. You can upload a picture onto the lasers computer and it burns the image onto whatever media you choose. Fairly inexpensive.
Thanks guys, I laser engrave these with a machine. I wouldn't say it's "fairly inexpensive" considering the machine itself is 30k, cad software, and all the other misc. costs. These are 24X18" plus usually an inch with the frame. Most of my time on these is on the actual drawing, I typically redraw from photos and things like engines take a ton of time to draw. Then they have to be masked, lasered, paint filled, mask removed. Along with woodworking, finishing, and design with the customer the process typically takes about 2-3 weeks.
