    Saw a black F12 on the road today, heading north on 94 by Gurnee.. it was first time I saw one out in the wild, in the showroom I wasn't as into the styling, but on the road I like it a lot more

    Oh, but i do have to comment Absent :) Basically saying "the problem with that car is it's so easy to drive, even a grandmother could do it" is unnecessarily sexist.. just saying.. I mean, Jane is a grandmother and regularly drives her Miura, I'm technically old enough to be a grandma and there's nothing I won't drive....

    Not beating up on you, I like ya, just saying that your point (which I kinda agree with) could have been made just as easily by leaving gender out of it.. like "A supercar should be a little harder to drive, require more skill and effort.. if for no other reason that someone without ability doesn't get in over their head and endanger everyone on the road"

    Should have said my 96 year old Grandfather (RIP)....
    Agree, bad analogy, was trying to make the point about absolutely no skill required and no learning curve applying to that car (big part of the fun, at least for me)

    I do agree.. the idea that there are 200 mph cars that anyone could get in and get in over their head terrifies me :)

    Like those new Dodges that can do 200mph.. it should be scaring the hell out of someone unskilled once they are in triple digits so maybe they have second thoughts and slow down. My Phaeton is too easy to get well over 100.. when you're at those speeds, you should have to work for it.

    I wouldn't drive a Dodge (unless it's a Viper) past 110 though... too unsafe imo
