A lot of hard work went into planning this! If I hadn't registered for the Santa Run Texas 5K this Saturday I would totally join. Best of luck! I can't wait for pictures.

My Corvette is still in the shop getting paint work so I'll be in the Tundra, if anyone needs a hauler for bicycles or large items please feel free to ask me to drive them out to the drop off point.

It was the night before the Great Ferrari Club Toy Run, Not a creature or SSR was stirring ! I sprung from my easy chair with such a clatter to see what was a matter. I did not hear 8 little cylinders prancing under the hood of my trusty sled. - What DEAD BATTERY???? Hey it was stirring yesterday!!!! 13 mm, 10 mm, & 8 mm in hand I crawled under the sled and snatched the dead lump of coal & lead from its resting place. Dash away, dash away as I went in search of the perfect Christmas present to bring joy to the world. I as circled through the night, I came upon a shining star surrounded by bright lights. I walked past the stable of steeds parked outside, I was greeted by three wise men, each offering wondrous gifts of power, chrome, & energy. I asked one of the wise men to direct me to source of power for their steeds. And behold there wrapped in a stall was 12 volts, 4 year warranty, 680 cold cranking amps. The wise men asked if I was part of their gift exchange program. I told all I had to offer was this lump of coal & lead. The wise men pondered for a moment and then came word - they would exchange my 5 year old lump of coal & lead. After a donation to their favorite charity, the wise men passed on a newly energizer for my steed. Off into the night I went, in search of my tools & the stall of my steed. Moments of wonderment were realized with the clatter of 8 little cylinders. All that could be heard was Merry Christmas and to all a good night. My sled has new life!!!

Diverse assortment of cars for the Toy Run - American, German, British and, of course, Italian. Great route - some of my favorite roads north of 380.

The finish line was also great. Less than 5 mins from the best $6 gourmet meal in Texas!! Tacos (order el pastor, thank me later) & elotes @ Fuel City Tacos.

Thank you Boardwalk for organizing this fun event for a worthy cause.

You've got it all wrong, barbacoa is the correct answer. ;)

It's on like Donkey Kong! LOL.

Actually, I'd normally agree with you, since I'm a fan of tacos made from the more controversial parts of the cow, but the barbacoa at Fuel City is roast beef instead of from the head/cheek. See pic I took today.

But, it's a minor blemish on an otherwise great place.

Our group had a blast! Thanks for organizing. Are you still collecting toys at the dealership or have they been handed off already?
