Fascinated about racing after purchased the 360 C from a member here.
Pardon my ignorance, but what slicks do you recommend for the car? The only thing I know is soft-intermediate and hard. Which option do I choose? and what brand?

I do not plan to track the car in wet weather.
Also where to buy slicks for the 360 Challenge in the US and Europe? I guess I have to import them(doing that for a living) to Hong kong because here they sell a no-brand slick for US$700 each.

Previous owner put Michelin Porsche cup tires on it, front 27/65/18 , rear 27/68/18. He said because of the understeering, the wider the better for the front.

The CS has 19" rims, so if you want to use slick tyres, you must use the same in 430 Ferrari Cahllenge series by Pirelli.
For street and track use I recommend you Pirelli Corsa K1 or the new Michelin Sport Cup 2 both in 19"

Depends on track temperature, your experience and track.....Next to compound please note also production date. 7A is a soft but very old compound.

Congratulations on the car. A well-sorted 360C is a wonderful car to drive.

For tires, I'd start with the spec Pirellis, DH (i.e. Dry, Hard) to start with. I would also encourage you to not let a little rain deter you, Pirelli's wet tires are actually pretty good.

Bob Woodman Tires is one source in the US, the other is JX2 Performance (which recently took over the primary tire supply/support business for Pirelli motorsports with the Challenge series and a few other series, including I believe CCR which is where most 360C's still race).

A "key" thing with all the Challenge cars is to have them set up properly, and also to carefully manage your tire pressures. (plenty of threads here to search, and plenty of experienced 360C owners to get advice from).

IF you are not working with a 360C experienced race shop, I'd start a relationship if only for troubleshooting support and setup. Remember, this is a "vintage" "Ferrari" "race car"....any of those words by themselves are dangerous, together they can be diabolical without the right expertise.

    Keep us posted
