HOLY ****BOX! I had a feeling something was up with it, especially after talking to the dealer. Something just didn't sell well with me. Either way it looks like it was sold. I ended up buying a UGR Gallardo in 3 pedal a few days later anyway. I'm sure I will revisit the Scuderia sooner then later. Thanks for the heads up! Jr
Felt that it was time to rehash this thread. What do you guys feel is the current market price of a RC 09 scud under 10k miles clean car?
this is a good data point: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/ferraris/513388-2008-scuderia-rosso-corsa-6-200-miles.html 08 RC w/ carbon pkg, 6k miles, sold recently for asking price 225K Since it had the carbon pkg, it's identical to an 09

Nice scud! Theres a market thread here http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/360-430-sponsored-yellow-compass-group/334361-scud-pricing-guide.html
I think to lump everything 430 Scuderia related into a single thread will be not as useful or easy to check up/monitor than separate threads for the topics you are suggesting. In fact these threads basically exist already, and simply need to be "bumped up" and revived.
(My post from 11/22/2015) A short update from the Swiss Scuderia market: at the moment there are 28 (!!) Scuderis's on the web, thereof 5 M16. Regarding the 23 Scuds: there exists a price range from CHF 169'500.- (grey, 04/2008 with 53'000km) up to CHF 259'000.- (black, 06/2009 with 27'000km). Between you will found everything, for example a grey 06/2008 with 5'900km for CHF 250'000.- or a silver met 04/2008 with 67'000km for CHF 175'000.-. It seems the purchasers are in an advanced position. FERRARI F430 Gebrauchtwagen kaufen/verkaufen
I picked up an '09, RC, 8500 mile, 12% worn clutch, tracked many times but FoA said it was well maintained before and after, striped, passport 9100ci installed, and a very nice example for $240k. It was the car at CNC if anyone knows more about it.
Congrats....you'll love it. Mine had some track time as well, but it was always maintained like yours. These cars were meant to drive to the track, race, then drive home. If anything, I think they're better off mechanically than one driven 25 miles every 3 months.
I don't see track time as a disadvantage either. It's what they were made for. Pic for Koop. Image Unavailable, Please Login
There was a recent Scud trade-in at McLaren SF for a 675LT. Said scud is listed for sale at $248k w 11k miles which means the dealer probably paid at least $210-220k for it, maybe more since they resold the consigned used LT for $50k over msrp...
IMO, $220k trade in and buy price of $230k on a nice RC Scud seems fair nowadays. I certainly think I paid full entry price at $240k. Thing is, dealers know these are on the up so they are willing to hold onto them and sell them later at a higher price.
I surprises me why people ever even get surprised if the car has been tracked. Its a sports car made to be tracked. Service, condition and how it was treated is the primary factor IMO. Traded my SCUD for a Speciale as I wanted to cash in already.
If you think about it - on the track you have better cooling, the clutch has much less stress... actually the tires are the only thing, that really struggles on the track. So actually you only need to find a Scud with a caring previous owner and you don't need to think much where it has been driven As for the prices - I think that at least in Europe they stopped going up for the moment. You can find a great Scud for about 180 000 Euro.
I bought my Scuderia after being on the track with it. This was for me the proof that its technology is healthy and durable. My assumption has been confirmed. A machine is built for movement and I can move it right or wrong, this regardless of the location. I'm convinced that revving the engine in stand (...in front of a street coffee) up to the redline or that stupid accelerating and braking in the public streets of London is more harmful for a Scud than a few laps around the track. Remember the racers rule: the calmer and more controlled a car is moving on the race track the shorter will be the lap time...
