    Its some of the original paint left on the fiberglass because the paint was in great shape, the varying colours show that the bumper wasn't straight but it is now and there's no need to take it all off to the raw material then put it all back on again.

    Carb'd wheels. Don't see that on an injected car very often. I considered the same on my ex-injected car as well.

    Original wheels (for car in above picture) are in bags with great looking but very hard TRXs. Had them on this summer for our local concours.

    Personal preference of the car's owner. All paint systems have their pros and cons.

    this. also many think the ultra shiny look one gets from a base coat clear coat does not have the real depth that a well laid down single stage paint has.

    Single stage is available I believe in solid colors, not metallic. Single stage can be cleared over also.

    what kind of paint is your painter spraying? I believe Glasurit was original as in my '83 but not 100% sure. Looks great!
