There is also an 89 gtsi for sale here Home | Oxford Motorcars
Yes, I noticed the prices on the 308s at FoNE had dropped. Perhaps, when the red one arrives with half the mileage they will reevaluate the asking price of the prugna car. If they are firm at $170K on the prugna car, either the market will have to continue to go up or they will sit on it for a lot longer (especially considering its condition). This is the first time I've heard of Oxford Motorcars. Interesting, 25,000 miles but no price listed.
Here is a red/tan 89 GTB with 22,185 miles. It says call for a price. Not sure if this is a current listing or if this is the car that was at Ferrari Long Island and is now going to Copley Motors. 1989 Ferrari 328 GTB Coupe - Pre-owned Luxury Vehicles For Sale | Used Exotic Cars For Sale | Pennsylvania
Gilles, i prezzi del 328, in definitiva, negli ultimi sei mesi: 1) salgono 2) sono stabili 3) scendono Scusami ma è un po' che non seguo più i prezzi: quale è la tendenza di fondo, secondo te? Grazie mille ciao How the 328 prices are going, in your opinion, during the last six months? Up? stable? down? I'm sorry, but I didn't follow the market in the last six months, except a bit for the drysump models. Thank you very much ciao
It's going "slightly down" here in France, Alberto: On average, about 90.000/100.000 euros asked for a good to very good car with about 60.000 kms. Above 120.000/125.000 euros, only absolutely mint examples with very low mileage will sell. Jean Lain Vintage in Voglans (Savoia) has: - the very last 328 GTS build, 83136, at 149.000 euros asked price, since about three months; - a very late low mileage yellow Pozzi GTS at 165.000 euros, down from an asked price of 176.000 since about four months, - and a late swedish GTB at 146.000 euros for about a year. All three are top examples, but they do not sell... In fact, I am under the impression that there are very, very few sales these days, perhaps none at all, which mean that the potential buyers and the sellers are not "finding an agreement": either the prices are too high, or the cars are not deserving their pricing. Everyone is waiting on "Retromobile" at the beginning of February to see the tendancy for 2016. Ciao, Bruno
Thanks, Bruno. The only thing I know directly is that one 328 GTS (in very good conditions) has been sold some weeks ago here in Italy to a German trader at 95 k euro. It's a car I knew and was very close my home. So I suppose 85-110 k euro for very good-excellent cars: 85-105 here in Italy (a poor country), 95-110 k euro in a rich country (Germany). ciao
But Italy is not a poor country: culturally, artistically, for elegance of life, for the people you meet, the cities to visit, etc...it is the richest country in the world... Rgds
The three cars I was talking about that look pristine but do not sell. These three are at the top of the market in France today. I have no affiliation whatsoever with the seller. For the "trainspotters", the first one is 83136, a swiss market car, and the very last 328 built. Trust me: here there are the lowest price for Ferrari, all the world comes here to buy our cars. I sold my (really excellent) 328 GTB in may, this year, at 88.5 K euro. Prices did not go down since then, maybe they didn't go up. ciao
Here's a new listing for an '88 328 GTB with 7983 miles for $229,000! Worcester, MA 1988 Ferrari 328GTB Used Coupe Westborough, MA Shrewsbury, MA Lundgren Honda | BL0078714 | ZFFXA19A9J0078714
Very nice..... Will be interesting to see the asking price, on the incoming 1989 328 GTB at Copley Motors.
Offered at the same place last year $ 125.000 ! So price will be next year around $ 300.000 or $ 450.000 ???
Following the GTB Ferrari has been with me since they were introduced, the car has not diminished one bit. Its only become more beautiful as the years pass. I had no idea they had made so few until I was trying to find one to purchase, then I came to the understanding how rare they are. Even at high prices it would be hard to part with such a beautiful well built Ferrari.
Classic "bubble" action. Quick turnover at increasingly higher prices without ever ending up in the hands of an end user or long term owner. A hot potato. Dave
+1 Be careful out there. By the end of last summer, it was my sense that the run up in 328 had plateaued. But maybe dealers are still trying to push things up. But let's remember, this is a 7000 mile car. Prices for cars with more mileage should be priced accordingly. If anything, a car with more miles (20,000, 30,000, 40,000 and on up) could represent great buying opportunities. -F
