Looks like a fantastic original-appearing dry sump in a very cool and rare color. Nice work, Christian!
I read/followed your TR restoration and that was a special car too. This one doesn't look like you need to touch a thing! It will be interesting to read your longer-term impressions of the 308. There truly is something special about a small old-school sports car. I hope the 308 treats you well.
Mr. Jacob from Springbok found the car in italy and it was ca. 80% in first paint but there were a lot small details he didn't like and the 20% repaint was not perfect so the car got a full respray in its original blu montecarlo in very good quality. I love the old and rare Salchi sticker! Image Unavailable, Please Login
I will do some works on Carlo! This month i will meet Mr. Kunz from the Eberlein workshop and we look what we will do. Brakes were very good, suspension also, but the bushings and all fittings get an overhaul. I will post all updates and pics, like everytime and it is always a pleasure for me to share it with you, i'm new in the 308/328 section but i read here for a long time and know some of you very well and hope thatbi can bring my little input in this section and hope you like it.
Congratulations Christian. Love the 308....more than any other car i've owned. The colour and condition of your car are fantastic! Image Unavailable, Please Login
I don't get the beige interior, with black door inserts. Seems like black would be the logical color choice here. Fantastic example, congrats on the purchase, these could be $300K in a relatively short time, not really any great examples left and for those that are prices seem to keep rising right behind vetrosinas.
The beige carpet was one detail which get me hooked because it bring that nice vintage charme with it. But you are right, black would be a little bit more logical.
Ah, yes: all the things photos don't show. I am sure the Eberlein workshop will also update the obvious 308 vulnerabilities: fuel hoses and fuse boxes. Unless you know the lower fuel hoses are absolutely fresh, if it were my car, I would insist they be replaced no matter how nice they look.
Amazing color. Looks gorgeous. Car looks pristine. Good luck. Enjoy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
