    Does anyone know which car crashed at the vintage racing on Friday? I heard it was a GTO... Back end smashed, I guess that's better than the front end... Just curious

    Being a race car, it's quite likely that this isn't the first time it's been smashed up a bit (or a lot, potentially!).

    Sad to see it crunched up, but great to see that it's out there doing what it was meant to do: driven (hopefully hard) on track!

    Fingers crossed that no one was injured, but this looks quite fixable.

    This same car was only months old when Hans Herrmann hit a ditch and rolled it in practice for the '56 Targa Florio.

    Accomplished driver, atrocious conditions, aquaplaned on main straight, backed into wall, overall not a bad outcome. I know of no insurance which covers track time.
