360 Spider, ROOF RUBBER DAMAGED : SOLUTION

    Hi everyone,
    I find this forum really useful and I would like to provide an interesting solution related to ROOF RUBBER DAMAGED. (valid for 360 Spider and I think for every rubber damaged in any car).
    My 2003 360 Spider F1 had both corners of the hood a bit damaged (See photos).
    To renew the part is not easy (need to go to the garage and Workshop Manual explain is a very long procedure) and is not cheap FRONT TOP GASKET ( part number #66459200 is £439.60 Each ) and you need one for each corner.
    After looking for some solution (it not easy to repair a rubber and most people just change it) I found it and I want to share in case this could be useful for the community.
    - Just find SUGRU on Internet (Sugru is mouldable glue that turns into rubber.)
    - follow instructions
    - and repair your own rubber with your hands
    - the result is great
    I attache some photos of the previous state and the final result.

    That's a good idea. Thanks. I've only used it for wiring and computer parts. Holds up very nicely for years.
