NEW THREAD - WEST LA LUNCH GROUP

Bumping to promote the next one set for April 29th. Make your plans to join us. We will be heading back to Malibu again this time. Thinking about trying the recently opened Tavern 1 on PCH, just up the street from Dukes. Has anyone been there? I have a message out to them about accommodating the parking for us.

 

Spoke with Tavern 1 and the won't take reservations for a Friday lunch so that is out.

At this short date, I'm throwing it out to the group: Dukes Malibu or Cafe Habana Malibu? Both have been accommodating with the parking in the past and the food is good.

 

Well you are the only one that voted so your vote carries it!

I'll call them tomorrow to make sure that they are willing to accommodate us again.

We had another good gathering for lunch today at Cafe Habana. A drive up PCH for lunch in Malibu is always a great way to spend a Friday afternoon.

Next Lunch is planned for May27th. It's the Friday before the holiday weekend. Plan to join us!

May 27th is the next West LA Lunch. I'm thinking Casa Escobar across from the Malibu Pier. I'll call them tomorrow and confirm the parking for us.

Remember that this is the Friday before the holiday weekend. For those of you that work, its a good excuse to go to lunch and start the holiday weekend early!!!

Meet up at the normal spot in Brentwood at 11:30 for the "unofficial" drive or the restaurant at 12:00.

Meet at the restaurant or join us for the "unofficial" drive before hand. Those who want to join the drive, we meet on San Vicente in Brentwood just West of Gretna Green (west of Bundy) just before 11:30 and take a nice drive up PCH.
