Hi all. Capristo exhaust and Seca headers resulted in a significant improvement to the overall sound of my F355. I have just bought a 2008 599 GTB which has stock exhaust, and want to know what owners with Capristo on their 599 think about the sound improvement to the V12. Apologies in advance if this is repeated. Cheers

Headers on a 599 is a bigger job than you think,i put a factory GTO system on mine and that i can tell you is a BIG job, it would be a lot easier if someone has produced headers that retain the factory GTB 8 lamba sensors as opposed to the GTO`s 4, as this creates issues with the ecus , all of which is doable, and I can tell you that its worth it,!!! the sound is just amazing,I just Love it,
if youve got time i covered the job under the thread ,599project/trackday car
Feel free to pm me if i can help

Remove the secondary cats and try it out with stock exhaust. It really sounds good. Came from a Tubi exhaust.

I have Tubi test pipes (secondary cat by-pass) and a remote control valve controller on a stock HGTE exhaust. Sound is epic to say the least. I don't think you can get much better than that even if you spend thousands. Straight forward installation and below $1500.

Obviously I agree 100%. We also have the remote control valve switch. Only difference is we used the Larini cat delete pipes instead of Tubi or FabSpeed but they're all good.

Anybody want to buy a Tubi exhaust system?

I have to admit that the other guys here are probably giving you the best advice, start with the secondary cat by pass ,and go from there, the by-pass pipes will be easy to sell if it turns out you want more , but imho , i think you`ll find its enough

The 599 with Capristo sounds like F1 death. It's amazing.
