Anyone feel the side scoop similar to alfa 4c?
Am I mistaken or one of Ferrari's SP-program rules is that you must keep the donor's car original windshield? This one looks not original, not from a 458 Speciale.
I have made this comment before: the one off cars usually have design cues that we see elements of in later production cars. That being said, I would rather be given the $3 million than this car! I would buy an overpriced Speciale SA and put the rest in the bank. I hope the guy who bought it, loves it. I think it is one of the worst looking Ferraris I have ever seen. Ungainly, derivative and definitely not elegant. Best
Uglier than the SP1 or the SP FFX? SP1: COACHBUILD.com - SP1: Fioravanti's take on Ferrari's F430. SP FFX: More Photos of Ferrari's SP FFX ? Interior Looks Even Gaudier?.
I take it you haven't seen any of the other SP cars? I was an early critic of the car, when it was still in camo. I'm happily surprised as this turned out really well. That said, for the money (£3m apparently)...I'd get a one of Zonda any day of the week.
Never let it be said that I don't own up to my errors. You are right. They are even more horrid. I think I must have formed a mental block against remembering those cars! Randy
It's ok. Definitely not crazy about it. It's not an elegant design. It's very angular. It could have a Lamborghini badge on it.
I like the design but don't like the colour very much. There are definite Alfa 4C and Ford GT styling elements but overall I'd say the effect is very nice.
Not a rule of the SP program. This is a rule of the individual country to which the car goes. Otherwise the car does no longer fulfill safety regulations (crash tests and many other things) and cannot be road registered. Here's a photo of the chassis number of the 458 MM Speciale. It is Special Project Nr. 32. Right now the factory is working on Nr. 38 already. Marcel Massini Image Unavailable, Please Login
Good evening, I am a fan ferrari, and I follow the chassis and special one-off series, politely I might indicate all those reccenti (the 38 it already has, I will counted about 10) Thanks Nico
Some time ago, you sent me the one off bruchure (thanks again) in which i noticed that when you roll mouse cursor over some of the pages, a folder destination appears. I always knew most of the cars never saw public roads, but i was shocked that the SP America shown no. 20 (or some over 20, dont remember exactly). Now I am shocked again. Sad news for me, as I am automotive artist who draws all one off and coachbuilt ferraris. Btw you can find me on deviantart under nickname Medvezh (no ad, i dont draw for money).
This is what the 488 rear shouldve looked like. Not feeling the Evora looking roof line. Side intakes look like the Series 1 Exiges. Front is decent looking.
