I recently ran into a problem, the car runs perfectly on idle, perfect traction up to 6000 rpm and then it's feels like it hitting the rev limiter, has anyone encountered the problem, and does anyone know if the ECU's have a pre programmed rev limiter. Thanks
You have not followed up on your previous thread here: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/348-355-sponsored-bradan/524878-348-wont-go-past-6000-rpm.html But to answer your one question, yes, the 348 does have a rev limiter. My guess is that the one in your car would be set at 7500 RPM and it is a hard limiter, which means that you can "bounce off of it".
Check your crank sensors. Had an issue with high RPM power loss and occasional "bucking" at high RPM and it turned out to be crank sensor problems.
