This was my Panasonic. I saw the Sony booth, were they doing demos?

 

Not just demos but instructions on techniques and loaning of equipment. They have a separate room in the hotel with the equipment to borrow. They brought over 1/2 mil worth of stuff for demos.

Great event! I woke up at 5am and was at the golf club by 5.30. My son loved it. So many amazing cars. Very friendly staff and great weather.

Funnily, one of the guys announcing the winners made a mistake when announcing an F12..he said it was a 2016 F12 TDF when it was a normal F12

Some pictures from the Driver's school. I will try to add some more over the next two days but I plan on being behind the wheel more than a camera. Weather was warm with a very nice breeze. Actually not to bad for a Mid West summer! If you are thinking "I should have gone!" Yes, you missed an excellent event!

I just got back from the 2016 Annual Meet in Columbus, Ohio.
Wow, what an event!

The Concours on Sunday was the best I've seen.
And, I won a Platino for my 458.

The Competitive Rally on Monday was great fun and ended with lunch at the Track.
It was about 98 miles long with lots of interesting things to see and several times needed to get out of the car to figure out some of the questions.

The Mid-Ohio Race Course is one incredible joy ride.
If you've never driven it, add it to your bucket list.
It was the first time for me, very challenging.
Lots of short ups and downs, a few blind corners, a couple of off camber turns, and 4 short straight-aways.
You can tell when you're getting faster when, all of a sudden, the rear end of the car steps out in a corner.

So much more to share about this event.

Does anyone have links to photographs taken at Mid-Ohio on Tuesday or Wednesday? I know there were a handful of folks shooting pictures for publications. I would love to see some of the on-track action and buy some pictures. Thanks!
