roadster rear bumper was optioned on my 99 SV with Silver wheels
Here are some pictures from a MY99 Diablo SV located in UK at Amari cars shortly after delivery. You see VT wheels on a SV too. In UK is also a light blue MY98 SV with VT wheels. Also what david said, there are some SVs delivered with SE rear bumpers and SE skirts. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Ciao Emilio, Do you think it´s written in the build sheet? In my build sheet was only color codes, chassis, engine, gearbox, differential number and the delivered dealer. I would try to contact the delivery dealer if he is still in business and ask for the contact to the first owner.
i think it may be i remember in your car the leather was marked as "speciale" and there are note as the car far the salon of ...etc some special order "may" be there....not sure though, with lambo of old there is no rule
where can I get a build sheet? I have la scheda vettura but it doesn't say anything about the wheels. it does say ALLESTIMENTO - "EXCLUSIVE" if that means anything my vin is WLA12045
Can you talk to the original importing dealer and find out what they have ? I got mine from them (sort of), and that's where I got the details about the roadster bumper being specified. Alternatively can you track down the previous owners ? DVLA in the UK provides this for a small fee in the UK, to enable you to assemble the history of a car. alternatively you can pay the factory - but from what I've seen the factory build sheets are poor.
Here are some shots from my engine bay. I had a 6 months detailing in the trunk and engine bay. -all screws and small bits like washers and springs zinc yellow plated -manifold new painted in silver with red lamborghini script -side panels repainted in black semi matt -air pipes replaced against new -small parts like air pipe holder powder coated The silver middle panel is at paint shop and i hope to receive it next week. Than the engine bay is done, i have to refill the A/C but this should be no issue. engine bonnet hinges before & after. After studying xxx SV engine bays i noticed that the lock part for the bonnet is fixed with "normal head" hex screws. So i bought correct ones and replated them in yellow zinc. Washers and spring washer were available at Lamborghini but the parts came in zinc nickel. So i also replated these in yellow zinc to have the correct finish. The blue zinc which fix the exhaust bonnet will be replaced when i refilled the A/C. One of both connecting pipes are under the exhaust bonnet. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
After rust removal and fitment of a new trunk carpet, original Alpine amplifier ans several other small bits my trunk is finished. Tomorrow i will adjust the trunk bonnet. I bought also new gas struts from the original supplier "stabilus". Unfortunately they are only available in silver. The Diablos were delivered from factory with black stabilus.
