Selling a Demro TAC-1 (Fox) machinegun from a collection I acquired.
    Here is the gunbroker ad;
TAC-1 (FOX,WASP) open bolt 9MM SMG STEN mags nice : Machine Guns at GunBroker.com
    which goes on sale Sunday.

This is about as inexpensive as you can get in a machinegun and with 9MM ammo doesn't cost a lot to feed. Uses generic cheap STEN magazines too.
Its also the only machine gun I've ever seen with a built in combination lock which you can optionally have functional or not.
    I'll take $3,950.

Its class 3 so NFA rules. About half a year wait for transfers.
Legal for non-felons to own depending on your state. Kalifornia and such don't trust you with these. Google search your state AND local laws.
People usually go NFA Trust or you can individually own it in your name.

    How to buy a machine gun;

    Machineguns are typically great investments.
Try and shoot your 401K ;)

Its there because when one disassembles the gun, the bolt operating spring can fly back and hit you in the noggin. Just like many spring operated machine guns but Demro decided to put a warning emblem.
Gun looks clean so I've never disassembled it.

I've never seen a DEMRO vid either.

Probably the cheapest full auto out there except for some oddball French stuff in calibers that don't commercially exist anymore.

From the Gunbroker ad, looks like it is pre-ban:

"I forgot to mention this is a FULLY TRANSFERABLE weapon to those that are legally able to possess such items (most citizens) in areas where it is legal to own them. (NOT a dealer sample or whatnot)."

Sorry.... I've been sleeping at the switch. Thanks for picking up the slack Alden ^
    Gun is TRANSFERABLE to individuals.
    Reserve has been met.
From the activity via GB inquiries it will sell for the $4500 Buy it now price. If you want it grab it.
Don't know the year of mfg but obviously pre-86.
If I were to keep it I'd look for a FOX/Demro/Wasp semi auto as a parts donor if ever need be.
I will have a M-16A2, Registered sear in a HKMP5K, Ruger AC556 Stainless folder, H+R Handi guns, Short barreled shotguns, silenced 10/22 Ruger and Beretta 92 Short barrel rifle (92 with a shoulder stock, RARE ) for sale eventually. If you live in Texas and have a trust already set up NOW! is the time to act IMO.
I'm looking for a sweet 1921 or 1921/28 Colt Thompson SMG right now before the rules change on July 14.

You and me both eh ? :D

Rules changes are basically now photos and fingerprints for trusts and corporations whereas previously none required. BATFE still reviewed trusts and corps as before.
New rules actually make it easier for some.
New rules add a layer of govt surveillance of which I have succumbed to before. I just don't like it. Any NFA weapon has Big Brother looking out for your best interest. ;)

I know of a sweet 1921 Colt/Thompson in "driver" condition for 35K with a lot of accessories. Perhaps 5K in accessories = a 30K Colt. Not bad considering.

I'm after Big Game; The "perfect" Thompson ;)

PS; Hey HernyR if the deal goes through you are invited to have a taste of a real Colt Thompson if you are ever in Dallas. LMK.

its just not fair...that 86 law should be repealed.

If the 86 law was repealed I'd lose my shirt !
Values have gone crazy because of the limited supply; No More MG's
There is talk of repealing suppressor NFA registration tax stamp $200 necessity.
Suppressors are still being made (along with short barreled shotguns and rifles.)

BTW the Demro "sold" for $7100. Buyer has 8 total transactions so we'll see....

I'm filing paperwork for manufacturing a "Krinkov" 5.45x39 SB Rifle today.
Might do a Saiga SB Shotgun too.
Tomorrow post office end of day is deadline for old trust rules.

Talked to a friend recently, that does some work for L & L Machine Gun in Tulsa, a class III dealer. Don told me, that he already owns 2 full auto weapons, and has been waiting 8 months, for the tax stamp, to purchase a 3rh full auto weapon. Guess the system is really backlogged with applications. I was in the Army, still have fond memories of firing the full auto stuff, that was back in the early '70's, did basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, in Missouri. We had 2 man teams training on the belt fed, M-60 machine guns, on a thousand yard range. They were LOUD!!

Sorry to have to say I find it's VERY strange that someone on Ferrari Chat is selling an automatic weapon !!!!!!! I've been a member here for a while and never ventured into this part of the site. I wish I hadn't. OMG. Your all bonkers who would want to have that in the house. ?????? I thought there were laws against this kind of thing

Everyone likes different "toys". I've had people criticize me, when I tell them I own cars that will do 200mph. Not everyone wants to drive a Smart Car. One of the great freedoms of America, to buy and enjoy what we like.

It's a machine. It has no mind, will, or ability on its own. Just like your Ferrari doesn't up and drive itself into mayhem, a firearm - even a machinegun - doesn't do anything the person holding it doesn't make it do. With the proper knowledge and experience its perfectly safe and a lot of fun to use and enjoy.

As others have pointed out, MG's are federally regulated and very difficult and expensive to possess in the U.S. To my knowledge there has only been one violent crime committed with a legally-owned MG, and that MG was possessed by a government agent. The civilians who can afford the money and take the time to legally transfer these items are not out committing street crimes!

As the poster above noted - why hate on freedom?
