Asks EVO. Are these the best mid-engined Ferraris? | Evo Disagree away. I do. (What, no Scud? No F512M? No...etc)
What is your definition of best? Best sound? Highest lap speed? Largest tail-out angle? Best looks? Most money? Most respect?
I would have added a 430 16M to that list. It is the last soft-top spider and a limited edition car. .
Exactly. "Best" is too vague. I think the 308 has to be the most iconic design in that it's design/profile is the universal form for Italian design.
Nobody is gonna let a hippie like you even within 10 feet of an LM, much less get in one. Security! Security! Cleanup on aisle 9.
To answer the original question, whatever is the most recent midengined Ferrari is the best. Yeah, yeah, old folks talk about this and that, but all those cars are in a museum, so they no longer count.
Actually that day there were 2 LM's in the building. I think the price for either was about 100K. And yes I had the money. One of many occasions I passed by and regretted later. The worst was the 250 Ellena I passed on for 45K.
I feel like some version of the bb should make the list. The list however seems like the newest is best. Seems a bit obvious I guess
The "best" mid engine Ferrari is the one you own. Although it might be more accurate to say that you're inclined to buy the one you think is "best".
"This is the best Ferrari ever MADE!" "Lets go out for a drive in it!" "NO! Miles will devalue it and someone might ding it..." The best is any mid-engine Ferrari you can actually enjoy. So basically a beaten, salvage 3xx that you don't care if it self-immolates. Forget the 246, F50, F40, LaF. Too "valuable".
the best is the one sitting in my garage with my name on the title. Right now, the very best is a 360 but who knows what the next best one will be.
