Thanks Dave, will do when we get the warmer side of xmas and I can get in the garage to have a play and assess what needs refinishing, besides what I immediately spotted, my window switches.

Dave, Fantastic job with the window switches. I need my windows switches repainted and then laser etched so that they illuminate. However, since I have the Ferrari Clarion stereo installed I do not (and dont have) the window switch holders thus I dont need those to be un-stickied. I know that you charge about $300 to un-sticky the window switches, but being that I only need the actual windows buttons (see the image below, the parts in green) un-stickied, can you IM me a quote? Thanks Image Unavailable, Please Login
Want a simple way to get rid of the sticky mess and save 1500 or so? I had a 355 which I sent my sticky parts to Sticky No More. Nice job, but expensive. For my 360 I just used isopropanol alcohol on a clean rag and was able to clean all the switches and the steering column shroud by just just continually rubbing with the alcohol and continually using a clean part of the rag. Never even had to remove the parts from the car which based on my 355 experience is a major PITA and time consuming, plus takes time to understand how the parts need to be removed. It took about 2-3 hours to get rid of all the stickiness. What you have left is just black plastic that actually matches the original finish, prior to it turning sticky, quite well. Note that For the vents I just popped them out and soaked them with Easy Off oven clean and repainted them with Krylon flat black and then a coat of semi gloss clear and it matched the original finish perfectly.

Dave, I'm going to need one more wheel mounting tool. I ordered two initially but i'm paranoid with CCB's. Can you shoot me a pm? Thanks, Al
Hi Al, Send me an email or just order on our online store. Happy to sell you a third but it's not needed. 2 on one wheel will work fine. 3 is not needed and won't offer any more assistance. dave.lelonek@**********.com Thanks.
Hi Ken, First, I don't believe any CF parts have the ability for transparent (backlite) graphics. As far as non illuminated graphics, I believe the CF parts have decals under the clear top coat. Would be better to ask John at MA Carbon or Glen from exotic car gear. We could probably do something but those guys already have a process.
StickyRX is using the laser to burn through the top layer of black paint to expose the white paint underneath. I am amazed anytime I see those videos. So cool compared to what was available in the sticky market before. For carbon, you'd have to actually cut the carbon since its a solid material. Probably a small hole then lay in a clear resin into the cutout. Then add some sort of translucent graphics above that. Way too much work..... Porsche does do something similar for their lit door sills. But their designs are much, much larger than these small graphics. For our CF parts, we place the graphics in between the layers of the final clear coat so its protected from wear. But they don't light up.
John - cool - thanks for the explanation. Sounds like you and I need to work on developing a process for backlite CF graphics - I bet we could do it
