i will make the contact and send the mail direct to you mr massini. i hope comes serios light in darkness of both cars for me open questions whence the parts and motor come dk-tr 0614 understandable details not public from the real 0614 project.
You still haven't answered the question re "certificate" and "photo of chassis number". Marcel Massini
- has dk-0614 certificate originality of ferrari-classiche - red book ? - picture of chassis number i can not published on the internet. it is not my car.
Suggest you ask the owner, Bruce C. Lavachek, AZ/USA. Or the restorer directly, DK Engineering. You already have all the details. BTW, the certification is not important for everybody. Some think it is the final word, others think not. But that is another discussion that we've already had in other threads and at great length. Is "your" TR factory certified? Where is the problem? Is it a secret? Or perhaps it is not really "0614 MDTR"? Marcel Massini
i am pleased your willingness to visit and see the real existing #0614 project. i understand it so, you have no more detail information about the dk0614 thanks
All very good questions. I am aware that Lavachek got his TR way back in the 60s or early 70s when they were still worth very little so its not a modern replica...... Love the real existing #0614 project line, thats like the real donald trump on twitter eh!
Very sorry, old news. 08009 was shown almost two weeks ago at Palm Beach, FL, already. Marcel Massini
In Parma, Italy, or Montevideo, Uruguay? I have tons but am still waiting for photos of "your" car and especially that all important and famous chassis number.......... PS: Did you talk to James Cottingham and/or Bruce Craig Lavachek? Marcel Massini
i have not seen in parma or nearby. why ? do you have any information from this project 0614 ? i feel against wind to this project 0614 and nobody saw !? has built ferrari possibly 2 race cars with the same number? no, i have not contact with "James Cottingham and/or Bruce Craig Lavachek" should i know the people.
Interesting story. You posted 2 photos of a "0614" mystery project. Could you post some more photos please ? Thank you.
Is there an engine with your "original 0614" project ? Are you sure that this project car is really 0614 MDTR ? Why do you post here if you don't answer questions ?
I've clicked the exclamation mark button a few days ago to ask the mods if it's possible to split the 0614 discussion from the original thread subject. Nothing has happened though. So maybe this post will help?
Looks like they sold the 275 GTS. The car was actually dry stored in a climate controlled atmosphere and not in the barn pictured and has little or no rust according to the current edition of the UK magazine Classic Cars.
interesting the history of the 0614, somewhere in my office I should have many images of the car when it was near Parma, there was the chassis and the bodywork.
