Awesome looking car...where did you find such a gem? :)
Thanks Alan! Thanks Hal. Spring can't come soon enough! LOL!!! Pete you are the man for making it happen. Loving it. It's sound asleep Clyde. Getting real itchy to drive it. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Very possibly. Just worried about melting snow runoff on the roads bringing salt with it. Let's see who else is into it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Looks like the melt off is causing lots of puddling on the roads. The snow is still laden with salt so probably not a good idea Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I was feeling a little itchy yesterday myself! I had no excuses when I saw 66 degrees. You were all there in spirit. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nice!!! And with the top down no less. That pic is a keeper. A Ferrari and snow in the same picture. Priceless! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
For the most part, the south shore roads looked clear. Checked the car when I got home and it looked "clean".
Same here, the roads were clean during my drive (Huntington to Plainview). Wouldn't have taken the car out if they looked suspect. Just the occasional, but easily avoidable, puddle from melting snow. Of course, with it now being Wednesday, most traces of snow are but a memory. Great week for driving!
Now if we get the t-storms predicted tonight to wash away the salt...tomorrow we may have an excellent driving day... But then it isn't 48 degrees that they predicted for today. My thermometer reads 76.
If any local 360/430 owners are looking for a great set of wheels for dirt cheap, take a look at these. I just sold my 430 with the factory wheels on it, so I have no need for these anymore. They are genuine HRE's, not replicas. Posting this in our Bagels thread because they're being stored at the detailer's shop in Plainview while my garage some gets some renovating. Wheels aren't something I'd like to ship to other states, so hoping a local guy picks these up. They will not fit on the California I'm getting. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/ferrari-parts-collectibles/546073-19-hre-wheels-w-tires-tpms-f430.html
Cars and Coffee this Saturday 3/11 at FoLI 9-11am. I am in. They are calling for snow now on Friday so that may kill everything
I'm skipping out of town to enjoy some Florida sunshine for the next few weeks, tired of the thought of any more snow. I did pick up the replacement for my GranTurismo today. 2012 California from Manhattan Motorcars. Rosso Corsa on Nero with the carbon sports seats, full carbon interior trim, carbon steering wheel with shift lights, black roof, black 20" wheels, red stitching, red ceramic brake calipers, shields, sport exhaust, navigation, parking sensors, etc. I'm not totally sure what was an option and what comes standard. Car is super smooth and very comfortable. Not as quick as my 430, but it didn't replace that, it replaced my GranTurismo, and it feels a bit quicker than that car. Only driven it once so far, but I can see myself really enjoying the car. Doesn't sound as nice as the Maserati, but I had a Larini exhaust on that car.
