Now that summer is almost here (ha, ha, ha), I took the Snow Cat out for some fresh air today. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Pretty pics from Theo and Mark. We've had the Cats out down here a few times since summer came early this year. LSJ
I need to correct my statement above. Mark, the pic of your white car in the snow is positively RIDIC!!!
Thanks Lash. Looks like I'll get another chance in a few days with another 20cm snow coming. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Our driving season has returned. I had the cat out last weekend. I need to do some maintenance and fine tuning for the season.
In case anyone needs something like this... no affiliation. 1972 Pantera Detomaso MAKE OFFER technical service bulletin and others booklets
Took over stewardship in 1984 from the original owner. Still get a kick out of driving...and simply looking at this thing... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Would have said the Panteras were highly under appreciated, but based on recent pricing I've seen? Looks like they finally are getting some attention. I remember stopping by a local "Fudruckers" back when I lived in Illinois, to see a gathering of Panteras. Most of the owners were inside eating, so I was pretty much in the parking lot all by myself - drooling. Someone came up to me & asked "what is so special about these cars?" Yeah, I didn't even own one... just a huge fan... and I gave them the full rundown & history. Don't think they were "car people." Should have just said: Are you just simply blind?
What is so special about these? Wtf? The shape of the Pantera is so exotic. I always felt like I was in something really special when behind the wheel. JohnnyRay - your car is just gorgeous!
$203,500 all in? I've got the Arrivas, too...but wouldn't consider putting them back on the car. For $203,500, I'll gift wrap them! In all seriousness, its nice to see the best of these cars commanding strong money... 1974 De Tomaso Pantera L by Ghia | Monterey 2017 | RM Sotheby's
Your car is nicer! The auction car was nice but was a repaint. Glad I kept mine as well but I'll gift wrap the whole car! Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have always had a strong appreciation for Pantera's. 351 Cleveland is such a strong motor. I put a 4 barrel in my 69 Cougar back in the day and it was tough to keep that thing going in a straight line. I would love to get my hands on a Pantera, it's on the bucket list for sure.
Please tell me about Pantera tyres. How many cars out there want to fit Pirelli P7 http://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/page/pirelli-cinturato-p7 I am trying to get 285/40r15 and 345/35R15 Cinturato P7 tyres made. but do you guys really care? And how many cars that fit this set up where built? and how many still exist? when i was a lad one of my favorite bands was the Hanoi Rocks and i believe Razzle the drummer, finished his days in a Pantera, with some Motley Cru
Woud be nice to have the original size for a GTS Pantera 225/50-15 and 285/50-15 as Pirelli P 7 pattern. Looking forward to receive my car equipped with Michelin BT 15 tyres.... (215/55-15 and 295/40-15) tyres on 8/10 Inch wheels.....
