Thank you very much. We will be selling these wheels soon and putting a different set on. Also might remove the wrap and do something different. Car is black originally.
My dealings with Capristo have been very negative. I would not recommend anyone do dealings with them. Very unreliable and disappointing. I spoke to their head office in Germany. Awful!
I am very sorry to hear this. Most would agree that we at Capristo take our customer satisfaction very seriously. My name is Erik, I run the U.S. Capristo distributor. please feel free to pm, email [email protected] or call me on my cell 561-262-2876. I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to fix the situation. Thank You, Erik Krammer
Well, over here in Europe, Capristo stands for exclusivity and very reliability ... not the cheapest, but very well known. Just my 2 cts ... But are you now posting your dis-like in two posts (or more) ? http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/458-italia-488/543446-badly-made-novitec-parts.html
Even ONE MORE posting about it: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/458-italia-488/543391-novitec-carbon-fog-light-surrounds.html#post145175806
What in particular causes you to post a negative comment about Capristo? I only ask because I thought your problem was with Novitec. You also mentioned that Capristo was going to help you because Novitec was unresponsive to the problem, did that not work out the way you'd hoped so you are now attacking Capristo as well??? Just trying to understand why Capristo is now on your hit list, I've always found them to be very helpful, very professional. I have only dealt with Erik and the Florida office, but they've been great, and are highly recommended. Jim
I've met the Capristo guys at SEMA and they seem pretty cool. I, for one, think anyone making upgrades for such a small market is doing something positive for owners. Yes, it's expensive stuff. But it is what it is. At least it's something special instead of a cheaper "nothing". Keep going Capristo! Surprise us.

It is very disappointing to read such postings, especially when you get blamed when you cannot fulfill the customers wish because it is technically impossible. Our UK distributor contacted us, they had sold a Capristo F458 carbon fibre diffuser and two fog light covers from a different vendor the customer was very happy with the quality of the Capristo product but unhappy with the quality of the other vendor, the fitment wasnt good. The other parts would not be easy to fit and if we (Capristo) could not do the fog light covers .. in the meantime Raul1976 contacted us as well .. he wanted to have us built the parts but we told him that we did not have the OEM foglight covers to do the scanning. Raul1976 offered us to send the OEM parts and 2 days later we received them. We started doing the analysis to estimate what would have to be done: 1). Scan OEM parts 1 day 2). Do the CAD 3D construction - aprox. 2 weeks 3). Do the CAD 3D construction of the alloy molds 1 week 4). Do the tooling on the milling machine aprox. 2 to 3 weeks 5). Do the carbon fibre production molds 1 week 6). Start production of the final product carbon fibre parts 1 week We told Raul1976 that to manufacture them in Capristo quality it would take around 6 to 8 weeks and then Raul1976 became very rude. He just wanted to grant us 4 weeks to manufacture the parts. If we would not agree to do them within 4 weeks he would also return the Capristo diffuser even though he was very happy with it. We are now for 27 years on the market .. but I have never had a situation like this. Raul, if you think that we are a bad manufacturer because we cannot do magic then it shall be like this .. we always have tried to have satisfied customers .. but sometimes even our hands are tied Antonio
Well said and I'm all for it when a manufacturer can stand for their reputation and defend it when it isn't their fault to begin with. If the complaint was a genuine one I'm sure you guys would have taken are of it. Just keeping going with the good work that you guys do - being a business owner myself I get it that you guys take care of your customers and don't let one negative review spoil your whole crop. Good Luck!
Thank you very much for this feedback. We take customer satisfaction very serious. I just wanted to outline why we cannot fullfil all customers requests. That's why we show in the future what it requires (in detail the whole development process). Thank you Antonio
Here I just wanted to show you which level of effort the development of our carbon fibre products takes, you can surely build with less effort by copying the OEM parts and you are done, the problem is that the molds shrink and start to distort .. and when you start producing parts they will not perfectly fit, you will then face issues when you try to mount them we develop the parts by scanning the car and then modeling in 3D on real data, then we built the alloy molds and that guarantees a 100% fitment. 1) The car is being scanned, with OEM parts and having the OEM parts removed so that we can scan also the parts that may be covered (like stubs or mounting points) which we may need as we do our own parts with a Capristo design. Thats how we avoid collisions. Image Unavailable, Please Login

The quality of the products looks fine at the start of this thread - just a bit too much going on for my taste. Each to their own with what they add to their cars.
Erik, I find the mods you've made to your 458 very nice and tasteful. Not the most impartial guy in the world here, once my 458 is also white, but still... Job well done. Striking car with the right ammount of carbon in the right place. I don't care much for carbon fiber on a road Ferrari, and even having said that I give you thumbs up. Congratulations. Very nice photos too. Makes me miss those priceless FL sunsets all the more. Kind regards to everyone at Capristo USA. Nuno.
Antonio, well done and thanks for sharing the process of scan, design and milling. Great work! Since I got you here is there a front lip that would fit under the bumper of a 458 to give it an aggressive look without extending too low? Thoughts on that? Thanks
