I was looking at the 328 currently on Bring a Trail and saw this car in the background (red circle). Any ideas? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Great question. Perhaps post it here: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/general-automotive-discussion/217636-help-me-identify-car-thread.html Matt
Quick glance could be a Borgward Isabella but the slope of the rear windshield tells me Karmann Ghia as well. . Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I don't know what it is, but I disagree with all of you. The wheel arches are too round to be a K Ghia or an Isabella. Looks Italian to me, but what do I know?
OK I'm going with something along this line. I may be way out of line here: Image Unavailable, Please Login
I agree. But I think the front arches are too big to be the little Alfa. This is way out of the ballpark, but I'm wondering Fiat OttoVu - although the roof line looks too flat.
I tried looking on Google earth but couldn't locate it. The 328 is parked next to a golf course and the listing was supposedly from Galway NY. Only a couple courses show up there but it could have been from another nearby town. http://bringatrailer.com/listing/1986-ferrari-328-gts-4/ I like playing sleuth.
I'm voting alongside you for some variant of the Giulietta... Although the front wheel wells look different, the rest seems to fit. Image Unavailable, Please Login
It's not a golf course, it's a park or open land. Look at the photos of some of his other auctions. M20-Swapped 1975 BMW 2002 5-Speed | Bring a Trailer 1967 Land Rover Series IIA 109 | Bring a Trailer keep sleuthing. D
I can't tell the exact shape of the taillights in the pic posted, but something about the combination of what those appear look like, plus the ridge above the license plate do not look right for it to be a KG.
Yes, early 70s. Notice the reverse light lens. . Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
