And this is what I hate about sportsbike riders (the few that are like this anyway) I don't care about the position on policing on speed, this is idiots being dangerous in public.
The company that built the GT40 (Lola) was far, far smaller than Ferrari. They beat them using superior engineering - a light, stiff monocoque vs Ferrari's tube frame.
The auction values of both generations of GT40's today rather negates that statement. You may as well say that a McLaren M8 is just a Chevrolet. No Ferrari ever beat them either. Don't get me wrong, I love Ferrari, but I also respect what brilliant people like Eric Broadley and Bruce McLaren achieved.
Yeah, +40. And the new one is epic. A much bigger jump in styling with the buttresses than any Supercars in the last 10 years. Can't wait to see one in the CARBON.
Not bad for something with over 1300bhp. I wonder how many laps it can do on one charge tho Zonda R from 2010 is only 2s slower with only 750bhp [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c4MRydmz86E[/ame]
I love clever tech, But until I watched this video about Nissan Deltawing I wondered how it worked. And it's similar to a reverse trike in tyre load but the rest is rather trick. I'll let Chris Harris explain https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=c_INdbXMqsw
Evo Magazine comparison of back to back drives of Ferrari Front engine V12's. Ferrari 599 GTB vs 275 GTB, Daytona, 550 Maranello and 575M | Evo
Funny.... That's not what I got out of that article. I've driven most of those cars... The 599 is easily the best of them in every way.... Physically bigger or not!
You must have read a different article. It seemed obvious that author felt the 550/575 were the pick of the bunch. Love the 599 engine, but the car is just physically too big. Something they "fixed" with the F12.
