When you follow those where they go under the back window into the cabin are they very wet there also mine is doing the same thing. I hope someone has an answer.
Nope, just wiped them and forgot about it till the thread was revived. Would still be interested in a reason or fix. They get pretty nasty.
vrsurgeon, Please forgive me, but are you saying this is a normal occurrence on all these hoses? Or are you saying the hoses are breaking down/disintegrating?
that's super weird. Your carbon canister(fuel vapor tank as you call it) is on the RH side? That's the hallmark for a euro 360. Is this a '99 car? Whats the first 11 digits of the vin?
They are probably of the same quality as the sticky interior bits. Ferrari always uses the low bidder.
Ferrari isn’t the only manufacturer that has this issue, the same thing is occurring on the rubber portions of my wife’s minivan power steering line. It must just be the material they use that breaks down over time allowing the fluid to weap thru.
So, I replaced these wet lines last year. I pulled off the side panels yesterday to replace my o2 sensor and one of the new lines is now wet like the old ones. Awesome.
Thanks for that advice. My last reply was over 2 years ago and those lines have long since been replaced. Not a problem per se but got tires of looking at them and getting an arm full of black **** every time I pulled the cover off.
Trev's software? If that's the case, you can get rid of the entire system and just cap off the lines at the intake. No chance of charcoal leaking if there is not charcoal.
