Here is the picture. It was just sitting in the parking lot during the car show. i dont know if you were there but the place was a disaster from the rain. Cars were slipping in the muddy field so Mr Dino was safely in the adjacent parking lot. I never got to talk to Ed Kemper about this but he had arrived early and perched his Pantera on a tee box and was looking good! I assume they made him move because it wasn't there when I came back to photograph it. In Ed's defense the nice elevated tee box was for the practice area and was the perfect spot for his awesome car! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi Larry! Hi Kevin! How are you guys! Larry I can't remember your shop being so large? Have you moved the shop? Hope all is well, here in Belgium too! We're expecting our second child, but the 308 stays! ;-) But it does need attention SOON! Lots of greetings Kris & Evelyn
Hi Kris It is very good to hear to hear from you again. I knew you were not posting as often as you used to, but priorities are certainly going to change with the new family members. Congratulations to you and Evelyn. The shop in the pictures is NOT mine. It is the body shop on the Big Island. Kevin: Thanks for posting that picture. Every time I see the car or a picture, I get a wave of regret....;>) Aloha Larry
The Dino is back on Oahu. It looks VERY good. The body shop did an amazing job. I have just started taking inventory of what needs to be done. I don't have the exhaust system yet. It is being shipped separately. I do see that there are no exhaust mounts on the newly constructed rear sub-frame. The engine and engine compartment will need a general clean to remove the accumulated sanding residue. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Its funny but I was wondering the other day what happened to this car. Glad to see it is back! Awesome!
Hi Mayor and Jakuzzi The Dino has been on the Big Island for about six years. I plan on getting it finished, serviced, and on the road much quicker than that....;>) Aloha Larry
