I did my 812 Superfast Tailor Made session at the factory last week. Thought I would share the renderings. It will sit next to my TM F12 Image Unavailable, Please Login
This particular blue is new to their TM range and had not been named yet, so I was allowed to name it after my daughter Caroline. So, "Blue Carolina" is its name!! The designer recommended yellow calipers to match the shields. Cheers
That is stunning! Congrats on that! Did you keep the color exclusive to your car, or are you allowing others to spec it as well?
Ahaha Awesome... Isn't Caroline the little Tifosi who chose the Rosso Bordeaux paint on your TM F12 ?
well they won't get many orders for that from Duke grads congrats on the spec, can't wait to see it around town!
Forgot to say it looks great! Looks like you are giving it a tdf lite feel with no carpets etc? Great privilege to name your colour and I have to say, whilst I have never liked the painted shields, they do seem to sit in far better proportion on this car.
Tim, Yes, I wanted it to be racier all the way around than my F12 and the bare metal floor reminds me of when I had my Scuderia. The fenders on this car are proportioned in such a way that the larger shields really look better IMHO than the regular shields. I was surprised by how much more aggressive the 812 looked when I saw it in the flesh than does the F12. I was very impressed. Cheers.
Well, considering 4 generations my wife's whole family attended Duke......😂 They will just have to get used to it. Naming it after my in laws only grandchild should help😊
I thought the 812 was terribly ugly until seeing this. Really nice spec, the stripe completes this car.
Be careful they just changed Rosso Coburn (a famous TM guy and owner) to something else (I asked for it) so get it in writing.
Mark, I'm doing Tailor Made on mine later this year and was curious as to what specific Tailor Made features you have on yours? I understand that the colour is probably one aspect, what were the other key ones you had that you couldn't have done through the Atelier?
Congratulations! What a lovely spec, perfectly in line with the more aggressive look of the 812! What a treat it must be to do this via Tailor Made. A chance to express yourself into your new Ferrari. Very very special. Well done! (PS I hope you got to eat at Montana!)
Ian I was at the Atelier and I asked in advance for your colour for my 812. It was produced and it was 100pc yours, looked like a Rosso Magma, I was told it was Rosso ***** can't sadly recall name but they said it was Coburn which had been renamed. Of course they could be wrong but it was your colour. I don't want to get anyone in to trouble, mistake may have occurred.
