Here is an interesting watch I found on EBAY. Skmei is the brand and under $20.00 EBAY # 272813214273 if anyone is interested. It is much nicer in person. I was expecting something cheap and flimsy. The hours are on the left, 15 minute increments on the right and the center has light on the top for AM/PM with 1-5 counter in the center.

I think anyone who could see your amazing car collection might beg to differ!

True... and ceramic certainly seems an improvement.

    Thank-you sir!

Nice tradition and I see what you did with the photo! I chose Tag Heuer as they were previously the official F1 timekeeper!

I sort of feel like my collection is lacking without one, but for the money I just don't know...

It is a decompression bezel. Turn the bezel until the triangle points at the minute hand and then the numbers will show you the time you have at a certain depth before you must begin decompressing. But I just think the orange details are a very nice addition to the watch as a whole.

A big chunk of the Daytona's price (and any other A-list make) goes into marketing, image premium, etc.

I would strongly suggest you look at the new Tudor Black Bay chronograph—the one with the Breitling B01 movement. The design, workmanship, and movement are exemplary and for half the price of a Daytona.

I used to think Tudor was a poor man's Rolex but at this point who the F cares what other people think-at least I don't. I'm going to get one.

That thing is super cool. I've had quite a few Zenith watches, but I don't think I have even seen that one before.

Broke out one of my chronos from Girard Perregaux. Back in the day they were the official Ferrari watch supplier. This is a '048', which was made from left over titanium and carbon fiber from the F1 team. If I remember right, '048' was the internal code for the F1 engine that year.

One of the things I like about it, is there are no prancing pony logos all over it. Just a '048' in red.

I swear I used to be able to read the tachymeter scale! :)

That's a classic chrono dial...love the red accents.
Yes declining eyesight is a real pain—I decided against a new Atelier de Monaco chrono because I could not appreciate the details without reading classes.

I'm getting a watch for my birthday in a few days, so I've been thinking more about watches.

Today I am wearing a 1991 Seiko Quartz Moonphase. I've owned it since new and wear it a lot. Other than a small scratch on the flat crystal, it is holding up nicely and still looks bright and fresh.

    What a gorgeous watch! Wow!

I thought I might like one, so I looked it up ... umm, "a little" out of my price range.

I used to think Panerai's were too big, but somehow they are very readable now. Fortunately, the ceramic Daytona's white on black with bigger numbers is out! What happened to my fighter pilot eyes! :)

Don't believe asking prices, these trade lower, but definitely not cheap even at the real prices!

Nice! sky dweller is an amazing piece. I'd love the rise gold, chocolate dial. I've been thinking of the stainless version quite a bit lately.
