    I think this would be an excellent option. Pick a font as a default font and size on the user control panel.

    No. I think it's annoying to see "New" displayed all over the place. If I'm interested in a particular thread, I can easily see if it's been bumped or when the last post was with a quick glance. I find that preferable to having every single forum marked "New." To me, it's information overload and annoying. Of course forums will have updates on a regular basis - why do I need to be told that about every single one? If given a choice, I'd rather opt-in for those notifications rather than have them as default - kind of like subscribing to a thread of interest.

    Where can I click "Mark All Forums Read?" I will give it a try.

    Using the new skin, not happily......:( Still switching back to new"old" ..... too much wasted space on the new style. Curious why you (Rob) think it is better?
    Not a comment on function.....rather on overall layout......

    And this is really an irony for me as a loooong-time graphic designer; always looking for "more whitespace"..... Now I got it & and I ain't happy!!!:cool:

    Seeing a number of cases of "overprint" on comments....a bug? (mac os btw....)

    who says I think it is better yet? :D The design of the posts was keeping in mind the right frame, which got voted off the island almost right away. Besides the bug ads showing to subscribed users the right frame info was hated next. So for at least a little we're stuck with a post design and layout that wasn't built for edge to edge. also keep in mind the challenges of developing a responsive design to mobile and different window sizes, not one built 100% for the highest resolution desktop view.

    I'm not design minded, but we had our top corporate designer at Motorsport Network do the mockups and standards keeping in mind brand image. The development company then took that who has more experience with forum designs than anyone and adapted it to the forums.

    I personally don't like the lack of definition around borders of user post headers or signatures. Although many talking about the reds too bright, I like how soft the light grey and contrast of black text work out. I even like the really light quotes as the new post should be the highlight and just a slight reference back to the quote.

    The new framework appears to work better overall but I HATE using the new skin. It looks nice at first but man is it unpleasant, plus missing features that were there before. The new framework with the old skin is pretty good and has the promise to be better than before. For example: the conversations section is better with its threading. Give us back newest on top with the old skin and you have a working solution.

    I don't think we'll ever be able to get new posts on top, but I have a few more developers to check with. current firm can't handle it. FYI default on FerrariChat has been old on top for 10 years now. I know there were several old school users including me that manually selected the new on top option.

    The old style theme is much improved! There are many benefits to the new software. I think if you keep taking the suggestions from members things will get much more approval. I like the more gentle color's of the old theme. I don't like the new FC logo, but it isn't really terrible, just not great. It's just too generic, but I wonder if it has to be that way. I also think you should be informing us on how to use the new features.

    I guess that comes with the territory. I really enjoy the like button and the alerts- "so and so liked your post" or "so and so quoted your post" etc. And I love getting high res images. But I know some members were annoyed with uploading images- they ended up displaying as thumb nails instead of full images. Not sure if that's fixed but I would suggest its worth looking into.

    I agree most won't read. How many threads do we have now on new software? 10? Same questions asked over and over. But, some are not good at exploring - they need to be shown. That's not going to change.

    Without posts being listable from Newest to Oldest - I can't be happy. Won't be not using, but arguing about fonts and colors is tiny small potatoes compared to the tragedy of eliminating this (IMPORTANT! ;)) option in the change. Not really accurate for me to check either choice 1 or 2 -- somewhere in between -- 1.5.

    My biggest thing that I absolutely hate about new F Chat is that from the main screen I cannot see what forums were commented on the most recently. I always go to the forums that have been commented on most recently and now I can't see what's been commented on and am flying blind. It sucks.

    The new framework is a huge improvement. I think this poll suffers from self selection bias. As a web development company owner, I'll put my hands together & feel really sorry for Rob & team receiving some of the vitriol I see pouring out here.

    Hopefully there are some small functional feature requests that can be considered, but I for one am very glad indeed to see the back of the tired antiquated structure. It must be a relief for mods & devs to arrive in the 21st century. I favour a vintage Ferrari ux, but software ux & ui needs to be up do date :) The old forum was suffering from the software equivalent of 355 sticky switches.
