    Try looking at something like a goal zero yeti 1250. They are quite pricey, however they can do the job of running your trickle charger/battery tender for a few weeks before they need charging themselves.

    It's a large battery itsself imo ... why not a "normal" car battery instead ?

    Simply wire it to the 458 plug ...

    I agree, it does not trickle the car's battery, but it so doubles the amps in the car's system does it not ?

    My condo board charges $500 to install an outlet next to your stall and $100/year. This was the benchmark set b/c we have a bunch of plug-in hybrids in the building. Seems a bit expensive but not worth the battle.

    True ... but problem is soved that way imo.

    Having the F dealer tow you away with dead battery is the same price ... or even more.

    Do it imo :)
