What is going on in Switzerland next weekend?
Hello Martin, This is the first concours d'élégance organized by Lamborghini Polo Storico. It will run between Neuchâtel and La Chaux-de-Fonds. All the best, Ed.
Thanks, Ed. I see: it is not an event where my car fits in.... I hope for nice photos to see here. Martin

It was a great pleasure to drive Ms Tahiti, after the second drive I got more and more used to her, it's like driving a bycicle, what you learned once you'll never forget Taking Pictures out of a countach is not as easy as it might look... I hope you got my mails with the other Pictures.
Two urracos, briefly mentioned in this thread I believe, were recently set for auction (September 24, Aguttes), anyone know the results? I went to the website and it still only has the estimates, no word on selling price or even if they sold (met reserve). Also a new listing here in the US for a black US spec (p111 engine) example, I think asking is $112,500. That makes 3-4 for sale here in the US (aforementioned black in Texas, orange at Cat's, red at Gullwing, and yellow in Fla/eBay).
The Urraco (orange) at Cat's is no longer on their website. Don't know if that means it sold or not. It was a "federalized" P300 I believe (ugly bumpers). Appeared to be in excellent condition and regularly serviced (and a lot of recent work!!)
This pic was posted on the Countach LP400 Vintage Photos thread. It is Turin 1974 with the two new Urraco models, the P300 and the P200 in the background. A quick look at my Bellu book confirms that the P300 is the lighter coloured car. The P200 has stainless window surrounds which is somewhat curious since production cars had no such trim and the surrounds were painted black... https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/attachments/75b-jpg.2400763/
74 torino p200 had a two vent hood too. good chance it was based on a P250 rather than P300 body like most of them. does anyone have an interior pic of this 74 torino car to see if it had the shifter boot and flat dash? i wonder how many if any P200 were sold with the P250 body and chrome bumpers? we know P117 15986 chassis #30070 had chrome trim, two vent hood early seats and door cards. was this an anomaly or some numbers switching? bellu book is one of the better ones. many sought after period books had a P300 (Jean Marc Borel), a 4 cam 3.0 motor in place of the 2.0 sohc ( de la rive box/crump) or even an urraco "bob" rallye on centerlocks wheels (stepfano pasini catalogue raisonne) incorrectly tagged as a P200 !
I believe there were four P200 with P250 bodies. 435/15806_30126 477/15968_30070 486/15966_30074 491/15900_30050 There is a good chance that the last three cars utilised P111/US style bodies as the body numbers fit into this sequence. I wonder if any of them have the roll bar as fitted to the P250 bodied P111s. P250s with chassis and body numbers contemporary to 435/15806 were consigned in the third quarter of 1974 so there is a reasonable chance that this was indeed the show car. It may have been retained by the factory as it was only consigned 1/10/76 and has the highest P117 Vin. Several P250 bodied cars were fitted with 3L engines but that is another story...
This was just listed. Anyone know anything about this car? Original colors, etc? https://www.beverlyhillscarclub.com/1973-lamborghini-urraco-c-7878.htm
This is an early P250; the Lamborghini badge on the rear is original, the Bertone on badge on the rear is not original. This car was delivered with a Bianco exterior when new and resided in Nebraska for the approx. last 20 years.
I am not so sure about the interior. There was a picture of a white car with a similar red cloth interior that looked very original that was a bit different and more in the Bordeaux side. It was posted some weeks ago, it was an early car that went in auction in France not so long ago. At Aguttes if I remember correctly. The texture of the cloth looked different. But as always it is very difficult to tell with pictures.
