Goodbye to an old friend. It was a great five years, and I learned a ton about 456's and Ferraris in general. Special thanks to Taz, but many others helped me out. Moving down one section to the 360/430 forum now, with a yellow 360 stick/sunroof car.

And we learned a lot from you over these past five years, George. Thank-you so much!

Sorry to see you go but glad you moved it on and enjoy that 360. Should be a little lighter on maintenance

    Condolences George.
I’ve only had mine for a few months but would be gutted if it left.

George- Good luck with the 360. The combo of 3 pedals and sunroof has to be pretty rare. I know how many 3 pedals there were, but no clue on the sunroof. I predict you will miss the V12, though, and that big pit of torque.

Terry, there were 22 sunroof 360's imported to the North American market, of which 10 or 11 were manuals. Only two are yellow! Very uncommon car. Things are going very well for me, so next year I'm going to start looking for a stick 612. I would have kept the 456 for the rest off life if it was a manual.

I can understand moving to the manual. My plan is to move to a 2 seater with a manual but to keep the 456m GTA for my wife to drive. And for longer trips to the coast.

I took the 456M on two epic vacations; to do US 60 in AZ, and then the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was flawless on both outings, and the automatic is a huge advantage when you get stuck in traffic. An F1/a 612 objectively makes more sense than a manual because of the automatic option, but I'm hard headed. :)

George- The price of a 3 pedal 612, and the rarity, may make you reconsider.

Nothing beats a oil pan automatic in town, but they are not as fun as manuals or F1. Congrats on your new 360. Meke some $$$ and get a 612. Should be a big step up from the 456.
