Put him in this years McLaren and see what he can do!

 

Something not even the NBC guys caught. They kept talking about how long it's taking him to overtake Sainz. He was 25-30sec behind Sainz when he came out of the pits.
This was not a safety car. You actually have to catch up and burn your tires during the process.
The NBC guys also kept banging about how Vettel only needed 2nd place to keep the championship alive and said Hamilton getting into the points had no effect.....WRONG AGAIN.
Hamilton's 2 points were crucial. It meant that a 2nd place for Vettel would not be enough.

 

Ooooouuuuuch!!!....Really Lewis, ya had to go there???? Just could'nt leave that one alone could ya?

We never see drivers like Max, Daniel, Seb and others just "settle"

 

Can't miss a point that doesn't exist - Lewis has lots and lots great drives from the back

 

9th, way to stamp the authority on driving the most dominant car for the last 4years....Vettel did not just coast like Hamilton, sorry... It was fun watching Hamilton struggle to get past the mighty McLaren and finish behind all world Stroll and Magnussen in the all conquering Williams and Haas. Yet he acts like it was a struggle and he had to carry Mercedes for the last 4 years. We are so lucky to be able to watch him single handledly bring that pig of a car home to a triumphant 9th place, that is the difference between Hamilton and the other greats, he makes a walk in the park look almost as difficult as Mansell did.

 

Yep, heard he likes taking people from behind ... what's he like ?

 

To be fair, he didn't even have to start the race ................. all he needed was for Vettel to self destruct
