clip from my lunchtime demo at WTAC on Saturday. One of my starter batteries collapsed, so huge issues getting the car started, including several bump start attempts in pit lane. Then 3 laps at 8/10ths, lots of oil and marbles from the drift cars so very slippery. A lot of work for 3 laps, but I'm glad I found the battery problem before the November meeting.
Only details I have yet is August dates for next year ... guess I'll leave the battery and tow stickers on
OK so council have been approached and are on board. Next step is for Targa to put forward to TMR(DMR) their requests for the various roads to be closed. Some of the roads will be under DMR jurisdiction the rest,if any, will be local council. As yet no route has been given to council and when the route IS done and dusted, only then will it be put out publicly. On the Targa website and at council. Dates are 31 August till 2 September.

I'm looking forward to this event, however after talking to Tim (the organiser) at WTAC, it's quick parade laps with no actual racing because they don't have the necessary safety permits.
One of your pit crew from Phillip Island said you only do quick parade laps, so Adelaide will be more of the same for you. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I'm halfway through a 5 day bike tour of Nepal. What an experience - equal parts beauty and terror. The views of the Himalayas are breathtaking, the roads and driving completely chaotic. Just as you settle in to sweeping bends climbing a mountain pass, the road abruptly changes to a moonscape of giant potholes and rocks, or two trucks come the other way side by side and you have to fight to stay upright on the 12 inches of room between the trucks and a thousand foot precipice. I haven't ridden much for a long time, but I've got back up to speed real fast. Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my SM-G950F using FerrariChat.com mobile app
What an incredible experience mate! Keep safe. I'm looking forward to hearing all about it on our next long lunch. Keep the pics coming! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
